Text Box: A deputy responded to Tonto Basin for a report of assault. A report was taken A deputy responded to the Tonto Basin area for a cow complaint. The deputy spoke with the reporting party and explained that Arizona is a free range state and he could make contact with the Range Manager for the United State Forest Service. A deputy responded to the Tonto Basin area for reports of a citizen dispute. After talking with both parties in the dispute it was recommended that they take their dispute to the courts. Gile County Task Force Agents arrested Todd Schatz, age 49 of Star Valley, on a valid warrant out of Gila County for Contempt of Court on a Child Support warrant. Gila County deputies and US Forest Service Law Enforcement officer responded to a report of quad accident with injuries in the area of El Oso Road in the Four Peaks Mountain range. The subject was located and transported to a medical facility. David J. McIntyre, age 56 of Coconino County was arrested on an outstanding warrant. Michael Clay Smith, age 37 of Navasota, Texas, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence. Larry Nicholas Berry, age 26 of Willis, Texas, was arrested on an outstanding warrant out of Globe PD. Richard Carter Blackwell, age 32 of Houston Texas, was arrested on an outstanding warrant out of Gila County. Michael David Crosser, age 31 of Payson, was arrested for domestic violence and disorderly conduct. Cody Timothy Krantz, age 30 of Payson, was arrested on four outstanding warrants out of Gila County and one out of Payson Another Fickle Finger Award …………... Gila County Sheriff’s Office deputies and Tonto Basin Fire responded to Punkin Center to rescue the driver of a vehicle that had driven through the crossing which was marked closed and washed down stream. The driver was rescued and the vehicle retrieved. A report was taken.
